SELECTED PROJECTS

Ese
Sotol

ART DIRECTION / VISUAL IDENTITYEse (S) is an artisanal sotol distilled from Dasylirion Wheeleri, a plant native to northern Mexico. This spirit captures the untamed essence of the desert and the hybrid identity of a border city like Chihuahua.

The brand identity draws inspiration from cholo slang—hence the name “Ese”—as well as street culture, crew aesthetics, the graphic heritage of Paquimé, and the raw textures of the northern landscape. The result is a contemporary visual system featuring a bold, old-style typeface, abstract graphic gestures, and dynamic compositions.

The logo centers on a stylized S, evoking both the shape of a snake and the look of a classic gang tattoo. This emblem becomes the symbol of the spirit itself—mysterious, grounded, and ritualistic.

Art direction is built around documentary imagery of the desert, the harvest, and nocturnal life on the border, paired with typography that echoes the title cards of vintage western films. The identity speaks with a raw and honest voice, deeply rooted in place and attitude.
This project reimagines sotol with a bold, urban, and cinematic approach.

Ketone
Kitchen

ART DIRECTION / VISUAL IDENTITY
KK is a dark kitchen based in Mexico City, specialized in ketogenic (KETO) cuisine. Its concept brings together health, convenience, and an energetic approach to everyday wellness.

The visual identity is built around a bichromatic palette of green and black—colors chosen to evoke vitality, freshness, and balance. Typography plays a central role: dynamic compositions, scale shifts, and playful spacing create a visual system that feels active, modern, and adaptable, while remaining clear and intentional.

The logo is a custom wordmark where the letter N features a distinctive stroke that suggests movement. Elements within the logo—such as the word ONE hidden in KETONE—are used to build secondary messages that reinforce the brand’s tone and philosophy.

Simple illustrations balance the clinical edge of the palette with a friendly, accessible visual language.

This project was developed as a full identity proposal, exploring how a health-focused brand can be visually bold, optimistic, and relevant to a new generation of urban consumers.

Mask
Milk

ART DIRECTION / VISUAL IDENTITY / CONCEPT PACKAGING Mask Milk is a healthy hair community that promotes hair care as a lifestyle. Based on this vision, the brand offers a professional line of treatments made with milk protein, formulated to soften, repair, and improve hair texture. The collection includes four treatments, each centered around a key component: Honey, Matcha, Cotton, and Silk.

The visual identity blends a minimalist style with clinical and expressive touches. It draws inspiration from 80s ads, the sculptural work of Isamu Noguchi, the organic shapes of cow spots, and the natural tone of milk. These references come together in a graphic system built from thin, irregular lines that evoke both the flow of hair and the texture of the product.

The central focus of the identity is the set of custom icons created for each treatment. These symbols, defined by clean geometry and balanced proportions, distill the essence of each formula. The art direction also used AI tools to craft a visual narrative that highlights the natural textures and qualities of each component.

Though the project has not yet been officially launched, its conceptual and visual foundation is fully developed.

Zadro

ART DIRECTION / VISUAL IDENTITY / EDITORIAL DESIGN
With a strong family tradition in furniture making and export, Zadro is an exclusive line of industrial furniture crafted in Puebla, Mexico—each piece built to last and made to be passed down through generations.

The visual identity takes inspiration from the bright red of forged iron, building a palette that reflects the strength and roots of hard work. The logo was created from scratch using bold shapes and sharp angles, echoing the tools and machines found in the workshop. The balance between strong serif typography and generous white space results in a refined, understated system. Zadro speaks of strength, skill, and timeless design—striking harmony between the classic and the functional.

Chaos
Shampoo
Lab

VISUAL IDENTITY / INFORMATION DESIGN / ILLUSTRATION Chaos starts with a simple idea: Hair is as unique as a fingerprint. From this belief comes Hair ID — a personalized shampoo formula created to match the specific code of each person’s hair.

The project involved designing the visual identity, custom icons, and a graphic language that brings this hyper-personal concept to life. A key part of the work was building a graphic system for Hair ID, using visual codes to represent the uniqueness of every user’s hair. This same system helped define the brand’s imagotype.

The visual identity blends a feminine feel with a scientific tone. The logo was created using a custom elegant typeface, paired with a neutral color palette that reflects clarity, softness, and sophistication. To balance this, a monospaced font was used for information design, giving it a more technical, lab-inspired look. The project also included simple, minimal illustrations for the brand’s website, helping to complete Chaos’s clean visual world.

Soft  +

ART DIRECTION / CONCEPT PACKAGING

Concept exploration of packaging and visual identity for Soft Plus, a base serum that enhances its benefits by combining with active drops to adapt to the skin’s needs. Conceived under the concept Your Skin, Your Routine, the design focuses on personalization and empowerment through self-care.

Although the project didn’t reach production, it served as a visual and conceptual research exercise. The identity is built around a timeless font and the “+” symbol as the graphic core: not only does it represent the addition of ingredients, but it also appears as texture on the packaging, emphasizing the idea of modularity. The vibrant color palette, reflects the day/night duality of the product and enhances a young, modern aesthetic. The soft, almost ethereal background provides a tactile, light feeling, completing the sensory experience.

Crumbit

ART DIRECTION / VISUAL IDENTITY Crumbit is an international directory for artists and creators, based in Barcelona. It’s a digital platform that helps connect creative people from different fields, encouraging visibility and collaboration around the world.

The visual identity starts from the idea of a crumb, turned into an architectural concept. Inspired by the Tower of Babel as a symbol of connection and shared creation, the logo is built using an isometric shape that looks like a brick or building block.

This modular system allows flexible use — the symbol can be rotated, duplicated, or used as a mask over images, adding movement and adaptability to the design.

The art direction mixes this structural base with strong and emotional portraits. The color palette —shades of pink and gray on dark backgrounds— was chosen with the client to bring warmth, contrast, and a contemporary feel.

Bamburen
Bambú
Haus

VISUAL IDENTITY / EDITORIAL DESIGN / PHOTOGRAPHYBamburen is a sustainable design project created as a tribute to the legacy of Michael Van Beuren —a Bauhaus designer and key figure in the history of modern furniture in Mexico during the 20th century.

From his studio in Cholula, Puebla, his grandson Tiago Solís Van Beuren —a visual artist and designer— revisits some of his most emblematic pieces in bamboo, blending tradition, innovation, and material awareness.

The visual identity starts with a logo inspired by the silhouette of the Alacrán chair, one of Van Beuren’s most iconic works. The graphic system combines archival material, a flexible grid, and Gelion —a sans serif typography with mid-century references— chosen for its structural clarity and ability to reflect the brand’s core principles: formal simplicity, compositional balance, and functionality. All guided by a clear philosophy: “Less is more.”
